ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Kissiah

I’m a single mother, a proud United States Air Force veteran, and a small scale homesteader. My days are full of little hugs, garden dirt, half-finished coffee and a whole lot of grace.

After my years of service, I traded my uniform in for the pursuit of a little patch of land in Tennessee; where some roots could grow deep for our family. Life is loud and messy here, but it’s also brimming with joy, and I want to share all of it with you.

We aren't chasing a picture-perfect kitchen here. Instead, our days are anchored in simple, grace-filled rhythms—sourdough on the counter, blushing tomatoes ripening nearby, and quiet mornings of prayer before the household wakes.

This blog is a letter to the tired, hopeful, faith-filled woman who doing hard things beautifully. You are so welcome here!

Faith First

We believe that a slower, more intentional life doesn't require a remote farm. It starts right where you are, with what you have, and the grace to embrace the beautiful mess.

Budget friendly finds and small hacks that make the chaos a bit more simple

Everything here is rooted in grace and the quiet steadiness of leaning on the Lord.

From chickens to garden beds, I share the real, muddy and rewarding parts of it all.

Raising my kiddo solo, imperfectly and joyfully.

“This is the daythat the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
